We are proud to announce that we have selected Mountbatten Hampshire as our chosen charity in the Southampton area.
Mountbatten Hampshire ensures its patients and their families have access to expert and compassionate care. This includes providing highly skilled end-of-life care to people living with a terminal illness, whether it’s within their own homes, a care home or in its inpatient unit. They offer support in a number of different ways; either part of their bespoke days, self-help or rehabilitation services. Mountbatten Hampshire also supports patients’ families, friends and carers through their illness and bereavement.
“We are delighted that Charters Financial Services have chosen to support Mountbatten Hampshire,” says Michelle Wheeler, Corporate Fundraiser for Mountbatten Hampshire. “It costs £7 million a year to provide our services so Charters’ fundraising efforts and support will help fund our expertly skilled clinical teams which include nurses and doctors. They provide care and support for over 3,000 people across Southampton City and West Hampshire who need us every year. Thank you.”
As Alain Amos, Managing Director of Charters Financial Services, reveals, his teams are committed to supporting Mountbatten Hampshire in many ways in the coming months. Simon and Stephanie have just completed the Winchester half-marathon which you can read more about here.
